During Easter Holiday Marleen tested the waters of the Dijle in Mechelen with her friend Bie (www.demaaltafel.be). They were struck by the amount of plastic (and other) junk they found in the water. So Betsies Escape decided to team up with SUP-conscious (www.supconscious.be) to organize a thorough #rivercleanup with a group of max 10 SUP-owners on 12 June in Mechelen.

What a great afternoon on the water it was: expanding the circle of hybrid SUP-spirits and supporting river-cleanup.org.
